FX July Virtual Luncheon

July 29, 2022 @ 11:30 am 1:00 pm

Optimize Your Productivity with Google Chrome

About this event:
Google Chrome has become one of the most popular internet browsers, accounting for just over 50% of overall browser usage in the U.S. Given the amount of time many freelancers spend on the web doing client work and building their business, optimizing your productivity while using Chrome could represent significant time savings! In this hands-on workshop, we’ll walk through a number of time-saving features like: Setting up Chrome Profiles to help you better organize your browsing experience and client work Organizing your open tabs in Groups (like folders for your browser! 🤯) Searching your open tabs to more quickly find what you need Sharing links to a specific place on a webpage (no more “second sentence on the third paragraph” moments for you!) Kristen’s favorite Chrome Extensions, including one that will enable you to shut down your computer every day without losing your open tabs! Please come to the workshop with Google Chrome downloaded onto your computer so you can optimize it as we walk through the features.

Members: Free / Guests: $10. Be sure to register in advance on Eventbrite in order to gain access to the Zoom link.

About the speaker:

Kristen Lux is a fractional Director of Operations and Systems Coach who helps service-based businesses organize and streamline their operations. Obsessed with the client experience, her work centers around the client/customer journey and using cloud-based software solutions to streamline it.

As a systems thinker and highly detail-oriented person, Kristen has an innate ability to see both the big picture and all of the minute details. She leverages these opposite abilities in her work, providing clients with an in-depth evaluation of their client/customer journey and a framework for how to manage it.

When she’s not nerding out over systems and processes, you can find Kristen outdoors walking, hiking, biking, and kayaking, going on road trips, petting dogs, and hanging out with her husband Greg and corgi-mix Bullet.
