Kimberly Beer has been an equine photographer for over 30 years. When she’s not behind the camera, Kim is a business and photography mentor and instructor who helps small businesses grow through her philosophy of Sustainable Entrepreneurship. She is a sought after speaker, instructor, and inspirational leader in the small business community.

Chris Brown

Chris Brown began freelancing in 2013 and is a big supporter of the shift in America to a freelance workforce. He represents startups, freelancers, and small businesses through his law firm, Venture Legal. And he co-founded Contract Canvas, a digital contract platform for freelancers. Julie Cortés

Julie Cortés has run her own freelance business for more than 20 years. Founder of The Freelance Exchange of KC, Cortés created a college-level course, Freelancing 101, and teaches as an adjunct professor at the world-renowned KC Art Institute.  As an award-winning copywriter, she is sought out for media interviews, public speaking, and coaching. Jeremy Lips

Jeremy Lips grew up in the midwest (Kansas City) and started his career as a graphic designer. After deciding to move into photography, he moved to New York to attended the Rochester Institute of Technology. His photography combines 2 lifelong passions, theatrical lighting design and advertising. Jeremy has been has been shooting food, product and the occasional person freelance for over 15 years.
