FX June Luncheon: Panel Discussion

June 26, 2020 @ 11:30 am 1:00 pm

Grab your own lunch and join us for a very informative panel discussion on current events and past experiences.

About this Event

Often, we consume content through one narrow lens. As a result, we fail to understand different perspectives and the entirety of a situation.

It doesn’t have to remain this way, though.

Kansas City is home to a number of black-owned and minority-focused publications. On June 26, FX of KC will host Community Voices, a virtual roundtable discussion with local minority media leaders to hear their perspective and to learn about their publications, experiences, and challenges they face.

Panelists include Ruth Ramsey, publisher of Our Health Matters Magazine, and Saleem Rasheed, Jr., Publisher of Taking Care of Business Magazine, and Eric Wesson, Managing Editor and Publisher of The Kansas City Call. To facilitate meaningful dialogue at the event, we encourage attendees to submit questions beforehand. Please submit these to [email protected]

Join us for this virtual lunch and learn Friday, June 26th, on Zoom. Register to get the link.

FREE for FX members; $10 for non-members
